We took a train from Kyoto to Nara today. Just like Kyoto, Nara is a World Heritage City under the listing "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara." All over the city, you'll see deer roaming around. Vendors sell crispy-wafers which visitors can feed to the deer. We passed by three of the sites.
In the afternoon, we took another train, this time to the town of Ikaruga (just a few minutes from Nara) to visit another World Heritage Site, the "Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area" in particular, the Horyu-ji Temple.
